What is RodCon? RodCon is a mini comic book convention celebrating all things comic books, video games, anime and science fiction. You can expect to see all ages dressed in costume, role playing and demonstrations in Quidditch, Potions and Improv.
Now entering its 5th year, RodCon has a lot to be proud of. In fact, since 2014, attendance has increased from 1,450 to more than 2,470. The interest in vendors exhibiting at the event has also increased, from 24 in 2014 to 60 in 2016.
This year’s RodCon will be held Saturday, April 7, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Rod Library located on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa. The event is free, open to the public and family-friendly, so you can bring the family and plan to be entertained throughout the day.
