Discover the joy of camping close to home! | Cedar Falls Tourism

In an age where we’re enveloped in electronic devices and relentless schedules, camping lets us reconnect with friends, family and nature. Leave your cell phone behind and enjoy hiking, biking and the tranquility of time spent around the campfire.

Black Hawk County offers a state park, five county parks with campgrounds, and a KOA campground resort. Most make it convenient to check availability and make reservations online.

George Wyth State Park

You’ll find plenty to do while camping at George Wyth State Park. Explore 10 miles of hiking and multi-use trails and more than five miles of paved trails within the park.
