The ultimate girls' getaway is happening this weekend in downtown Cedar Falls! Ladies will gather at Luna Art + Wine on Friday night to start off the weekend for the opening reception. Ladies will shop to their hearts' content and be able to attend fun classes with their friends and family members. Each registered participant will also have a chance to win prizes throughout the weekend, including $500 worth of gift certificates given out at the closing reception.
The WOW fashion show is debuting this year on Saturday morning at the Community Center. It will feature outfits, jewelry, and other accessories available from several downtown shops. Kate's on Main will also give away a free makeover to a lucky winner! This will be a fun event for attendees to be inspired by pieces they can find in Cedar Falls and dive right into spring.
Everyone registered for Women's Outrageous Weekend will receive discounts or specials at 29 participating businesses, including Jennifer's On Main, PeekaBoo Baby, Main Street Sweets, Runway Boutique, and Field of Yoga, just to name a few. Kitchen Essentials will host cooking demonstrations and Luna will have a blind wine tasting Saturday.
This is the first year WOW has been held in April, so Community Main Street hopes to see a large turnout due to warmer weather. This is a fantastic event to bring new shoppers downtown who will hopefully return to Cedar Falls throughout the year. Gear up for outrageous shopping this weekend!
