Cedar Falls Tourism Staff with TC Mascot Statues
From time to time there will be TCs that need repair and/or are removed from their sponsor location.
Visitors can still engage with the TC Mascot mission or trivia questions in the following ways: If you have a booklet or map that features the mascots, you can bring it to either the Cedar Falls Visitor Center or The Hearst Center. Alternatively, you can email visit@cedarfalls.com for assistance.

Cedar Falls, IA - The Cedar Falls Tourism Center has received 27 6-ft tall TC Mascot Statues, which were picked up by the artists contracted for the project. The artists have transported the mascots to their studios, where they will begin to work on embellishing each statue with a unique design.
Panthers on Parade will showcase the creativity of artists with an Iowa connection and celebrate the community's love for their beloved University of Northern Iowa mascot. The public will see the finished statues on display at sponsor locations from May through October 2024. "We are thrilled to see this project come to life," said Cedar Falls Tourism Center Manager Jennifer Pickar. "It's a great way to promote artists with an Iowa connection and showcase our community's pride in our UNI mascot. We can't wait to see the finished mascots on display for all to enjoy."
The artists involved in the project were selected by a panel for their artistic talent and connection to Iowa. They have been given creative freedom to design and embellish the statues according to their styles while working with the vision of individual sponsors. The Cedar Falls Tourism Center encourages everyone to mark their calendars for the public display of the finished statues from May to October 2024. Panthers on Parade will be an exciting and unique experience for people of all ages.
