Enjoy the water

Cedar Falls offers many ways to enjoy area lakes, rivers, and pools. Whether you want to be in the water, on it, or just near it, there are plenty of options for water adventure. You can bring your own boat, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, or tube, or rent one during your stay. Plan a portage trip on one of our Water Trails, or paddle and fish at Big Woods Lake Recreation Area. For an amusement park-like experience, visit the family-friendly Falls Aquatic Center to enjoy water slides, zero entry pool and a lazy river, or head to the nearby Lost Island Water Park for a full day of fun in the sun.
